Survive a Million Monkeys is expanding its arsenal. Community wiki notes (via PGG) indicate the game now includes new weapon variants, explosive banana projectiles, extra guns, and melee combat options alongside the existing wave-based survival loop.

What's New

The additions give players more tools for dealing with increasingly dangerous monkey hordes:

• New weapon variants — variations on existing firearm archetypes
• Explosive bananas — throwable AoE projectiles
• Extra guns — additional firearms beyond the starter pistol
• Melee options — close-range alternatives for players who prefer to get up close

Existing Weapon Progression

The core run still starts with a basic pistol before players upgrade through shotguns, burst rifles, and the Minigun using in-match Cash. The new variants layer additional options on top of this progression.
